OJONUGWA (JFO), a stakeholder & citizen of Kogi state has condemned the
ongoing political face off between Kogi state senator representing Kogi
west Dino Melaye and the state Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
In a statement from the media office of the PMAN national leader in Abuja ,
the good & responsible citizens of Kogi are disappointed in both political
officers who have continued to bring disrespect to the office they hold
with their actions that is always painting negative images in the media of
the peaceful confluence state . He called on the two leaders to sheathe
their swords and let peace reign for democratic dividends to accrue to the
people as democracy can never thrive in an atmosphere of unrest & violence.
The 2nd vice president also condemned the call for a state of emergency in
Kogi by the so called unknown group" Kogi elders forum " led by Olarenwaju
Olamelekan , he said the authentic Kogi elders know what to do and are
doing the needful in the present situation in Kogi.
JFO condoled with the family of the deceased youth who lost his life in the
June 12 Dino protests and prayed his soul rest in peace.
